Six months have passed since George and Nico saved the world from the Neo-Templars who sought to bring all people under their sway with ancient and powerful magic. George has been away from Paris for half a year and upon reuniting with his girlfriend, had thought that they'd spend some time together in peace. That hope had been just that however as George knows Nico is never one to sit idle, chasing one story or another in her line as a reporter. And so their first port or call is the house of professor Oubier, an expert on Mayan artifacts who Andre helped Nico arrange a meeting with.

You'd think that such a meeting would be fairly run of the mill but after the events of the first game, Geroge surely knows that neither lives are unlikely to be peaceful and mundane ever again. After all, people who save the world in a point and click adventure game series are destined to do so not once but multiple times - as many times as there are entries in the series as a matter of fact. And so the question is not if the world is in imminent peril but how and why and ultimately, what matter they'll end up being roped into saving it.

The life of point and click adventure game protagonists are often fraught with peril and tragedy but they're never, ever dull.

This game follows on from the first game in the series Shadow of the Templars. As such, there are characters and events that originated from there which will either appear or be referenced here without much explanation in game. For those who wish to learn more about the first game before starting to watch this one, the link to my let's play of the first game is provided below.
