Nico may have rescued George from being sacrificed for the trapped god within the temple but the world is far from out of being out of danger; said god is still going to break free when the eclipse happens unless the stones can be placed correctly to keep the smoking mirror's magic functioning forever. Time is of the essence and yet not all at once, for while the plot is attempting to urge you on for fear of the world being doomed there doesn't appear to be an actual time limit. After all, the heroes are never late nor are they early, they arrive precisely moments before it'd be too late for them to avert disaster.

It wouldn't be a final area in a point and click adventure game or a temple without puzzles for us to solve, would it? While the game has had some object puzzles to work out, actual puzzles has been at a minimum compared to the first game but there's still some time for this installment to rectify that with a puzzle that isn't too hard to work out but is time consuming to solve.

Is the length in solving it so you feel a sense of achievement when it's done or some last minute padding to make the game a little longer? I'll leave that for you to decide as I muse the solution to the conundrum placed before us. With luck it won't take long and we can resume our efforts to save the world.
