Yet another Crash Bandicoot game from the "Dark Ages" where everything went wrong in this franchise. CNK takes off heavily from the critically acclaimed Crash Team Racing, to which while that game was good, this game for whatever reason falls flat. The controls do feel heavy, but they can be gotten used to. Some of the modes, CNK Races and Crystal Stages can be tedious, but they aren't required to complete the game. There are other racing games that I'd sooner play, but CNK isn't that bad of a racer, I love it, and its definitely something I'd look back to. Also, MK8 totally took off on this game. Argue all you want about how Nintendo coined antigravity racing with F-Zero, but they literally ripped off this game with the whole wheels turning sideways to drive on the walls gig. But we'll get to that game in due time.
