With every level and boss beaten, there is only one thing left to do: Wrap up our completion points! And in this case, that means Banana Birds...quite a few Banana Birds. It also means quite a few minigames, most of which are at least somewhat annoying. Cranky has one, Swanky has one, and Funky has four, all of which need to be completed to get full completion and all of the Banana Birds. We also get Funky's ultimate vehicle for collecting all of the DK coins: the gyrocopter! (And I would love to see the in-universe justification for why Funky needs 47—or 41—DK coins to build a helicopter. What, does he build the copter out of the coins or something? That's an interesting image...) It's kind of a letdown, though, because while you can go anywhere you want on the world map with the gyrocopter, there aren't many places left you'd even want to go. We do need the copter for the last three Banana Bird caves, though. (And the Simon minigames are getting to the point where I have basically no chance of doing them successfully without writing down the sequences...) We also need it to reach what is apparently the queen of the Banana Birds, a huge banana-shaped creature who has apparently been imprisoned behind a magical barrier by K. Rool. (This part never made sense to me...not only does K. Rool apparently possess magical powers now, but the whole Banana Queen thing kind of came out of nowhere, didn't seem relevant to anything except the fact that we were collecting the regular Banana Birds, and as far as I know, never came up in any future Donkey Kong game or anything else either.) In any case, once freed, the Banana Queen chases off K. Rool, and we see our completion percentage and ranking once again, which of course is now 103%.

With that, we've come to the end of another Let's Play. (I had really hoped to finish this before the end of 2014, but it didn't work out.) That means I've technically gone through Donkey Kong Country 3 twice, but the first time was long enough ago that I'm not too worried. I consider the SNES and GBA versions of the game to be on about equal footing. The GBA version does have more content, but not all of the additions are actually _good_ ones. (Considering it added Ripcurl Reef, Kroctopus, and that _bleeping_ racing minigame...) I also don't consider its soundtrack as good, though it's not as bad as it's sometimes made out to be either. Still, though, you can't go wrong with either of them...Donkey Kong Country 3 is still one of my favorite games of all time. The modern ones, Donkey Kong Country Returns and Tropical Freeze, are also excellent, and I do hope to be able to do LPs of them as well, though I'd have to get a capture card first. (Maybe even before that, considering at least one of the other games I wanted to do in 2015 would also require one....) The real question is: What do you guys think of the text commentary? It was an interesting experiment doing it this way, but should I continue? Should I keep doing text commentary for all future projects or keep doing live audio commentary for all future projects? Or should I do some of both? Or should I perhaps use them both within the same video, switching in certain places (as in PinkKittyRose's Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin videos)? Please tell me what you think so I know for the future.

In any case...Donkey Kong Country 3 for the Game Boy Advance is finished, and I will see you next time:
