This game features no music outside of the intro cutscene. I suggest that you play some music to go with the gameplay. If you want a suggestion for music for this video, one is provided below.

We're not yet halfway through the game but we're already starting to see things that are repeating, like the general layout of this floor.
Knowing how the floor is going to work allows us to prepare for what's ahead, in this case lots of teleporters and four areas separated by a central corridor area. At the same time, we've likely got far more yet to see that's all a mystery to me that's not the enemies - that we'll meet different enemies is a given. There'll be new effects in certain areas of the levels and we've yet to encounter any pits or devious traps that could kill us.

Despite all that, the game is at its core a relatively simple dungeon crawler and so what we've been doing hasn't fundamentally changed from the beginning. The tools we have at our disposal have increased and the enemies are that much tougher to compensate, but we're still trying to reach the lowest level of the dungeon, just like at the beginning. I'd prefer that we had some better equipment but that's besides the point.

With it being this difficult near the halfway point, it really makes me wonder if what we'll face in the latter half of the game will be that much harder. The only way to find out and while we can leave this floor right now, it's better to explore for better equipment and more experience gain before we do that. That does mean we have to fight more greater medusas, but surely we won't be as unlucky as we were before, right?

Wishful thinking, I know. There's been a lot of that in this game so far when it comes to enemies and equipment.
