Let’s Play HC Minecraft Take Three #59: What a Terrible Night to Have a Gallop
The seed for the world is -4530229098322994391 (Java Edition). Please refrain from posting spoilers about the seed, including the location of desirable resources and locations of interest.
If you’re looking for a zombie villager at night, the best place to do so is a large, open plain while on horseback. The vast area means more chances for zombies to spawn, which means more chances for one of them to be a zombie villager. The large area makes dodging enemies easy and makes it more likely they’ll despawn too, giving you further chances of more zombies. The one downside is that once you find the zombie villager you want, you’ll likely have a long journey through dangerous territory to bring them to where you want them to be, one that you may not be able to complete before it becomes day.
While there’d be a little more space if I hadn’t planted all the trees around my keep, it still wouldn’t be the biggest area for using this method. Add to that that the enemies spawn in quite large quantities and you have a dangerous place to go and gallop about in the night. Still, it’s a method we haven’t yet tried here and I’m willing to give it at least one try before pondering other methods. The diamond horse armour makes it a little bit safer for us to do, but only a little, so we must continue to be ever-cautious.
