This is a blind playthrough of the game. As such, please avoid posting puzzle solutions or plot spoilers, so as to not spoil the experience for me or other viewers who haven’t played the game.

Our first attempt at getting out of the lab may not have been in the least bit successful, but that one was built upon the shaky foundation of hopes and dreams rather than truths and harsh realities. GlaDOS being active once more makes any future escape attempts a lot more difficult and risky, but I’m sure Wheatley has been taking all that into account while coming up with his second plan for getting us out of here, a much better plan. Precisely how it’s going to be better isn’t information I’m privy to, but I’m certain the AI will have thought long and hard-

You’re not buying this, are you? Me neither, but there’s always the slither of a chance that this time, things will go well.

Our second attempt at getting away has the unfortunate extra step of dealing with the near-omnipotent and omnipresent AI that’s intent on making us suffer through testing for all eternity, a challenge difficult enough the first time around. There is one thing going in our favour, however: while GlaDOS believes it knows what we’re capable of – something I find hard to believe considering how creative the human mind can be – we KNOW what the tools the AI will use to deal with us last time. Perhaps the key to victory will be removing those tools from its arsenal, levelling the playing field just a teeny, tiny little bit.
