Decided to go up against an optional boss, get a new party member, some fancy new items, avoid another optional boss, and fight another Sigil Guardian. Luckily the Sigil Guardian is just St Elmo's Fire again but with three Pressures (the big blue guys I kept randomly fighting). So just use the same strategy after wiping out the trash monsters. Oh and we are done with Floor 6.

Yuugi (Boss):
This is one of those few boss fights which comes from an Event rather than a Boss icon. The event in the top left corner of Floor 5 will do nothing until you meet the requirement of 400+ battles. If you meet the requirement, it throws you right into a boss fight. And this is not a boss fight you want to stumble into.

This battle is pretty much a dps race unless you have some insanely beefed up tanks. Yuugi uses nothing but single target physical attacks and will usually target the far left character. Unremovable Shackles is her 'weakest' attack but has the added effects of paralyze, poison, and a Eva/Speed debuff. This attack will one shot all but physical tanks. Supernatural Phenomenon is raw damage that can easily reach one thousand damage against your tanks. Yuugi is very fast and rather resistant to status effects (cept for Poison) but decently vulnerable to debuffs. She has high Defense, low Mind, and high Fire Affinity. So this will be mostly up to your casters but if you have Iku, debuffing her Defense and using physical attacks will work.

Once she loses enough hp, Yuugi will add another attack to her cycle. Knockout in Three Steps is a fire based physical attack that will hit your party members for at least four thousand damage. At this point if you have been playing defensively, you will have to pick up the pace before she kill each of your party members one at a time.

Having lost my main tank early, I just started throwing in characters that I did not need to take the next hit. Poisoning can be rather useful as is any magic based attacker. Just keep swapping people in and pray you win the race.

Yuugi has a 25% chance to drop Lion King's Soul which gives +40% HP/Atk/Mind/Speed +2 TP and +4% Recovery. A nice item if you are lucky or willing to retry the battle.


Yuugi:
Oni
Yuugi is a variation of Youmu. She has a bit better costs for her moves and the SP to support them. She has rather high Attack and Defense but is vulnerable to magic attacks and a bit slower than Youmu. She has the same moves as she did in the boss fight with one variation and one new area attack. Supernatural Phenomenon is a very cost efficient attack, doing high non elemental damage to a single target. Unremovable Shackles is the same as the boss fight but minus the debuffs. It is her weakest attack (also Spirit Based) but does do both Poison and Paralyze. Her new spell Storm on Mt. Ooe is Wind based and her only area spell, decent for clearing randoms. And her final attack, Knockout in Three Steps, is one of the most powerful attacks in the game. Its physical and fire based but sports a long delay (empties the ATB bar entirely). With buffs, this attack is great on bosses.

So she is another physical powerhouse. For choices, you can do far worse than picking this sake loving Oni.
