Let's Play Mega Man 10 - Part 1: Woolly Bully
0Time for a new project! This is Mega Man 10, the last of the NES-styled classic Mega Man games. It plays pretty much the same as Mega Man 9, just with different levels and bosses (and a couple more levels, actually). The plot is that robots are doing violent things and we have to stop them, you know, like every other game in the series. This time, though, it's because of a dangerous virus (insert your own real-world reference here) that's basically robot flu, because that's apparently a thing that exists in this universe. So we have to team up with Dr. Wily, which I'm sure couldn't possibly go wrong in any way, and do the standard routine of beating eight bosses before finding out what's really going on.
In this first stage, we face Sheep Man, as well as actually quite a variety of enemies and gimmicks. The stage seems to be cyberspace-themed; the entire thing is pretty much a reference to "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?". He's an electric-based Robot Master, with what that entails in the stage, but he also has some more outside-the-box things going on. It's one of the more interesting stages in the game, I'd say. Beating him gives you the Thunder Wool, which is probably the biggest dud in this game's special weapon set (and it has far less useful ones already than its predecessor did). It shoots a cloud in sort of an upward arc, which shoots lightning downward.
