For our third stage, we take on Solar Man. I'm not sure what his stage is supposed to be, but the soundtrack says it's some sort of solar reactor. In any case, it's clearly the fire-based stage of the game, with such hazards as fire pits, arcs of fireballs, laser-shooting flowers, and a pair of phoenix-like midbosses. Solar Man himself is definitely the biggest threat here, though. His behavior is simple in theory, but for being such a one-trick pony, he's deceptively tricky to fight; I can never quite get the hang of reacting to what he does. He jumps from one section of the room to another, dropping fireballs along the way depending on how far he jumped, and the fireballs split into two horizontal waves. The ones from his special weapon, the Solar Blaze, do the same thing, though you shoot it like any other weapon rather than dropping it vertically.
