It's time for a new project! This is Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, also known as Crash Bandicoot 4. I'm not sure why they specifically decided to label It's About Time as Crash 4, because Crash Bandicoot 4 already existed for 19 years before it, and it was this game. And if you ask me, this is a much better sequel than the new one is. it might not be the best game in the series, but it beats the heck out of near platform hell difficulty with collectibles hidden in obscure locations and nigh-impossible completion requirements. Yeah...I might be more than a bit salty about how the new Crash 4 turned out...

Anyway, in this entry to the series, the first on the PlayStation 2 (and other 6th-generation consoles), we still have warp rooms and we still have power crystals to collect, and this time, we have a stock character ensemble based on the four classical elements, four new evil masks with the powers of earth, water, air, and fire. Each of them gets their own warp room and a boss battle powering up the other new character, Crunch, who is another bandicoot and one who has not had much of a role in the series since. We start things off with Arctic Antics, which is a bit tricky for level 1, but not that tricky. (Though for some reason, it has a death route. Seems awfully early in the game for that...) Then there is level 2, Tornado Alley, which is an airplane level, but about the easiest one you're likely to see, and it tends to go by pretty quickly.
