Let's Play Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex - Part 4: Remember to Stay Hydrated
We start warp room 2 with level 6, Jungle Rumble, and level 7, Sea Shell Shenanigans. Level 6 is a decent enough one. About the first 60% of the level is just standard Crash Bandicoot jump-and-run through a rainy jungle (and a surprisingly early series-like one at that, if you ask me). The rest of the level involves escaping a herd of rhinos in a Jeep, and yes, it's another chase section. Level 7 is the first underwater level. There's nothing particularly wrong with it, but the water levels in this game have all the problems of the ones in Crash 3's (being slow, having kind of janky controls, and not being all that fun) while seemingly being a good deal longer, so yeah, I don't really like the water levels in this game. Also, PCSX2 seems to have issues rendering this one, because once you get into the submarine, there are graphical glitches that I don't remember happening in the game when played on console. Oh well. Also in this episode, we return to level 5 to deal with that Spot check that I failed, get its gem as a result, and talk a bit about Metroid Dread.
