Let’s Play Okamiden - Episode 8: Lucky Coins and Unlucky Forests
0With everything we can do in Shinshu Field for the time being done, we head out to Agata Forest to see what’s going on there, only to be sidetracked by a wounded crane that we nurse back to health and decides to take up residence in Yakushi Village. Though trust me, this diversion is definitely worth our time since it’ll reward us with a lucky coin, an item that will help us get more powerful weapons. We’ll need five of them to unlock the most powerful weapons and there are only eight of them in the entire game, with several of them being missable. So if you want to get the strongest gear ASAP, it’s in your best interest to do this sidequest now since it’s on the way to Agata Forest and you won’t have access to Shinshu Field for quite some time after the next dungeon.
Though speaking of Agata Forest, apparently things only got worse there after the events of the first game on account of how the entire place is now one big pond with demons running around like they own the place. Heck, the demons are so comfortable in Agata Forest that they set up a marketplace underneath of the Deep Abyss, which we venture into in order to find out what exactly is going on here and how to fix this mess.
