Let’s Play Crash Bandicoot - Finale: A Satisfying N. Ding
After making our way through the infamous Slippery Climb level with only one death in spite of the irritating platforming and how it really messes with my acrophobia, as well as a few other levels and the fight with N. Brio and his mutant form, ?!?, we finally reach Cortex and have an epic battle with him atop his dirigible in what I consider to be the best Cortex fight in the series. Sure, most of the other Cortex fights throughout the years are good, but they lack the epic atmosphere that this one brings to the table with how the dirigible slowly circles the burning remains of Cortex’s castle, the flames accentuated by the sunset, as this slow, foreboding song plays, signifying the threat of that the mad scientist poses, only for it to get more upbeat as the fight goes on, representing how Crash is starting to come out on top.
However, while we may have defeated Cortex, this playthrough’s far from over since there’s still plenty of side-content to cover in tomorrow’s bonus video, including a level that will put my “Crash Bandicoot” prowess and sanity to the test.
