75While you may think that after the encounter with the young dragon and the giants that we're done with diversions, but you'd be wrong. Not only is there another scripted encounter that we haven't bumped into yet, but there's something rather important back in the spider cave within the Forest of Wyrms that we're going to get, an item which will prove very useful going forward.
While special encounters are nice to see, I do miss the more random battles that happened in the first and second games. They made the world feel that much more alive, that other people and things are out and about while we're travelling across the countryside.
A few less bears at 1st level would've been appreciated, though.
