Let's Play Technobabylon Part 10 - The Family Tree Takes Some Weird Turns
Our trio arrives at Fulcrum tower just steps behind Galatea, whose plan is already in motion. Briefly, she intends to upload all the minds taken by the Mindjacker into Central, taking it far beyond anything it was designed for. Nina has her own plans for the AI, an optional choice which actually branches the ending; we end up playing through both. But before that we have to actually reach the core of the facility, securely hidden behind a triple-locked door. Our three heroes must work together to save the day, enduring inventory glitches, pixel hunting, and one hell of an awkward family reunion.
Galatea isn't alone, of course; the Mindjacker is camping one of the objectives and needs a roundabout approach to unseat him. The last third of the puzzle proves even trickier, and we may need to resort to certain Old Ways(tm) to figure it out...
