With GameFAQs on our side we confront Galatea at last, only for a nasty surprise: putting Latha in touch with Central was, in fact, part of her plan. Latha's Trance affinity makes her a natural host for the gestalt consciousness being cooked up, and things are too far along to to simply yank her out of the chair. The time has come for something desperate, something crazy and adventure game-y to save the day. And since Regis has already endangered one protagonist through acting rashly and not asking for help... well, just watch, you'll see. It's in character, let's put it that way.

And that's Technobabylon! We stick around long enough to play through both cliffhanger endings, and talk for a while about what works, what doesn't, and the planned sequel on indefinite delay. To summarize, I'm impressed with the presentation in the game - the acting, art, character writing, worldbuilding - and it's mostly the actual plot and puzzle design where I think the game stumbles. It's still a solid adventure game, and I salute the developer for the obvious effort and affection put into it.

Thanks for tuning in, all! Next up on the weekly will be Obscure, a classic-style survival horror set in that most nightmarish of places: high school! Oh yeah, most of those kids ain't making it to the credits, calling it now.
