We continue our exploration into the Temple of the Mad God, checking out the remaining few areas of the second floor while fighting off a good amount of Iron Golems and Monks. We have to deal with several Monks that spawn after I leave a room, often resulting in me having to attack quickly so I don't get killed in one hit.

Eventually we work our way to the riddle door of this dungeon, which manages to stump me more than most of the other riddles we have seen. Going through a tangent of thoughts, I eventually figure out the answer after thinking about things involving wood and fire.

We also retrieve the Diamond in this part. The interesting thing to note about the room with the Diamond is that there is a ledge that is easy to climb that leads to the outside of the map. Watch as we explore the black void beyond! For a location to escape the map, it was pretty easy to blunder into, which just further shows how bugged and clunky this game is.

We then make our return journey to escape the Temple of the Mad God. Beyond a struggle against a Troll that tempts me to kill it but is difficult to attack due to my low health, this part is pretty uneventful. Returning to town, we then get the normal lengthy selling process that we seem doomed to keep repeating.

Nothing really to be gained this time around, though we do get a Potion of Healing (you know, that sort of thing might be useful) as well as a Potion of Purification. Not understanding what the latter does, we look in the manual, only to find that it has a couple features. It heals poison (not that poison is something we ever deal with), it gives us 100 health (making it an extremely powerful healing potion), and sounds like it protects us from enemy magic for a bit of time. Needless to say, this thing will be absolutely amazing if we ever decide to use it. Based on the manual, it seems like we accidentally found one of the best potions in the game. With all the luck I have been getting with resources, I haven't even had to explore non-story dungeons in a desperate attempt to level up.

We also get access to the Crystal Tower, which I save for next time. This section is closed up with a lengthy rant, I am pretty bad at finishing things up quickly since I love doing these. I rant a bit about the game and my opinion on it. To summarize, it is not a very good title. I tend not to be a big fan of dungeon crawls since they tend to look alike and promote a lot of aimless wandering into empty rooms. Still, it is playable and can be entertaining for short periods of time, plus some dungeons can be intriguing for their originality. Overall this is an extremely buggy and clunky game that should be picked up for some dungeon crawling in a massive random-generated world, though is a title that will most likely get on everyone's nerves due to being so unstable and tedious in many regards. Still, doing these games as a Let's Play series tends to make it more interesting for me, meaning that I get a bit of entertainment where I probably would normally quit in boredom. This playthrough is therefore more based around the interest of seeing the entirety of this game, one which few can say they have fully won, and fewer still on a Thief-based character. Therefore, though it isn't a game I would consider good by any stretch of the imagination, it is entertaining enough to play through.
