In case you were wondering, yes, Daggerfall can totally can get worse! With combat being entirely nerfed due to the ridiculous ring I picked up in the last Episode, the game needs to compensate with making the dungeon into one very long and very frustrating puzzle. You pretty much press something, see what it does, and try to use that to get to somewhere else. All the while you need to use Levitation constantly or risk falling off ridiculously small and buggy platforms. Did I mention I hate this dungeon?

So far, the Mandella Crux has basically consisted of two major sections separated by a teleporter that was a random floor piece. The first pretty much involved a lot of doors and floating to random corners of the map to figure out where to go. The second is even worse, becoming a pure button pressing nightmare with the official levitation thing being buggy at best and a random guessing game with someone's name after a tombstone fails to work properly. Yeah, pretty much Daggerfall has become even MORE buggy than it already was, which I never believed would have been possible.

By the end of this part I pretty much work my way into the depths of the second part, making my way into some large Aztec-like pyramid, only to be blocked by another random trapdoor. A lever does something in the map, but I am not entirely sure what. Needless to say, next time around we will need to play a fun game of figuring out what the brown lever did! Did I say I hate this place?
