Continuing on from the previous part, I finally head to the next area of the game.
The first screen of this new area has a small room hidden behind a waterfall.
Due to still being cautious about picking up items lying about the place, I decide not to take the tutu that was in this hidden area. (Not sure if that was a good or bad thing to not pick it up!)
The area past this screen has some bushes we have to hide in.
While hiding in the bushes, we overhear Papyrus talking to a knight about how he captured a human.
The knight seems to be named Undyne, who we have heard about before.
Papyrus tells them that the human escaped, and tries to convince Undyne to just let this one slide.
But when that seems to fail, Papyrus says he will continue searching for us.
We then almost get captured by Undyne when I move after the cutscene.
Undyne leaves after not being able to find us.
With undyne gone, some monster kid that has been following us fanboys over Undyne.
He then runs on ahead of us.
Moving onto the next screen past this area, I encounter a puzzle where I have to place four flowers into the water at the right spot to form a bridge. (I also encounter a weird new enemy in this area!)
After figuring out the puzzle and getting across the water, I get a call from Papyrus asking us if we are wearing a bandana.
I tell him that I am wearing one, which I'm not sure was the right or wrong choice to pick!
Moving on from that, I read some signs and interact with some talking flowers to get some more backstory on this world.
I then get a game over from a random encounter and have to redo everything all over again! (Fail!)
After redoing everything I just did, I survive the random encounter the second time around, and then move onto the next area.
This next area has more signs telling us the backstory of this world.
And then in the next area past that I have to run away from Undyne as she throws spears at me! (This section of the game has to be the most intense so far in terms of an antagonist attacking us!)
I barely manage to avoid her attacks, and she leaves after picking up and putting back down the monster kid when she tried to grab us in some long grass.
The monster kid is overjoyed by this, saying we were unlucky for not getting caught.
He runs on ahead of us again after saying we will encounter her again at some point.
Moving onto the next area, I run into Sans again, who seems to pull another prank on us with a telescope. (I didn't notice it at the time, but that telescope was clearly another one of his pranks!)
Exploring this new area, I encounter some talking flowers, and some old random encounter enemies.
I eventually end up running into some weird looking octopus looking monster as I walk to the next screen.
His name is Onionsan, and he welcomes us to waterfall.
He seems both friendly and lonely due to being stuck in this area.
After parting ways with Onionsan, I survive another random encounter, read some more backstory stuff, play a piano, pick up an umbrella, and then meet back up with the monster kid.
We walk along with this monster kid for a few screens before he helps us climb up to the next area. (He also continues to fanboy over Undyne!)
