There's quite a few nice rewards in the former building, with a couple of cursed items that aren't too prohibitive in their drawbacks. It's only a short walk back to town either way, generous compared to later dungeon crawls. Getting used to the combat mechanics here will serve you well when the stakes are a lot higher later on.

Once we confront the murderer, hopefully the group will get out of him who commissioned the deed. Then again, this place has been rather perilous, who's to say if they made it through alive? Tom's group is three while the assassin is just one, it wouldn't take many to overwhelm him.

One things for sure, there won't be any windows for him to jump out of if things get tricky.
