Sector three has certainly been more of a challenge, but that makes sense considering how close we’re getting to Page. Soon we’ll be in the heart of his stronghold and we’ll talk to him in person for the first time, but there’s still a few more obstacles to overcome, one of which is Helios itself. The AI isn’t going to let us access sector four until we hear what it has to say and if you think that it’s got its own visions for the future that it needs your help with, you’d be right.

Unlike the Illuminati and Tracer Tong’s plans, Helios has a far more radical thing in mind to solve the problems of the world. It wants to rule the world itself, taking the decision making process out of human hands entirely so they cannot endanger the world and themselves. For this it needs us, for it does not know what humans wants because it is not human and we are. Interfaced with us, the combination would be the best of both worlds and, in its mind, best suited to rule. We have to ask ourselves however if Helios truly wants to be a benevolent dictator or whether absolute power will corrupt it absolutely. More importantly, is robbing humanity of the freedom to rule themselves worth the trade-off Helios offers?
