And so, Doomguy is the only living human left on Earth. Ahead of him is his home city that’s full of demons and zombies, but this is nothing new for him; he was the only person left alive in the UAC base in the first game, doing a long patrol when the other marines tried to take back the base and failed. The difference here is that where there were only hundreds of demons to face off against in the US base, there are likely many thousands of demons in his home city waiting to welcome him back with missiles and plasma, not to mention the many more millions of them on the rest of the planet.

While I’m sure Doomguy wouldn’t find trying to single-handedly hunt down each and every one of them, it’s impossible until he can shut down the portal they’re using to get to Earth, located where he used to live. I doubt the demons will have left a handy off switch somewhere to use so we’ll have to improvise when we find it, something that’ll be far easier said then done. We’re as well equipped as we can be for this effort however, save having 200% health and armour. Provided we’re careful with our ammo we shouldn’t have too many problems, at least until we reach the city proper. Once we’re there, we’ll have other things to worry about.
