Despite the number of times that I’ve played this game, I don’t know the location of every secret nor will I proclaim that can play each level masterfully. Mistakes can, do and will happen, be it not picking up a power-up or getting caught in the blast radius of a missile I’ve fired. If I were capable of flawlessly clearing each level without so much as a scratch, I think I’d enjoy this game a lot less then I do. You don’t need all the secrets to complete the game anyway, as there’s more then enough resources at your disposal to take out every enemy you find and then some.

With that in mind, please don’t expect speedrun levels of gameplay from me even though I tend to hold down the run button the entire time I’m playing. Now that’s a habit that’ll get me into trouble sooner rather than later, along with not strafing as much as I should.

And then there’s the pain elementals. The less said about them, the better.
