Leveling all skills in the game:
This will be like a part 2 to my skills and attribute management video.
Here we go:
*PSA* - This guide will give you tips and all the main ways to level
each skill, i understand that there are also minor xp gains from a lot of
different activities that are done in game, but in this video we will
focus on the main ways of gaining XP and leveling.
First, remember that attribute & focus points directly impact how fast
and how far you can learn any skill.
Make sure the skills you wish to master has enough focus and attribute
points assigned to it.
In general to keep leveling a skill in a productive manner, you need to
use attribute and focus points whenever the yellow shading goes over the
green shading.
The green shading represents what you are capable of learning or your
learning limit, and the yellow is your progress.
You can still learn past your learning limit, but your learning rate or
exp gain will go down every time you level up until it is at 0%, at which
point you cannot level that skill any further.
Now onto how to level each skill:
Vigor Skills:
One Handed - Use one handed weapons | XP granted on hit
Two Handed - Use two handed weapons | XP granted on hit
Polearm - Use polearm weapons | XP granted on hit
Control Skills:
- Bow - Use a bow | XP granted on hit
- Crossbow - Use a crossbow | XP granted on hit
- Throwing - Use throwing weapons (huge xp gains from the rocks and the red
bomb rocks you can use while defending a siege) | XP granted on hit
Endurance Skills:
- Riding - Ride on horseback in the world map, in battles, sieges and
around villages. Faster you ride, better XP you will gain.
I have a video on how to improve your speed drastically, link down below:
https://youtu.be/dCQbo9lXIjY
- Athletics - Run around the world map, in battle, sieges, in town, castle
or villages and in tournaments
- Smithing - Pretty much anything in the smithy in towns, smelting and
crafting weapons and also refining.
Cunning Skills:
- Scouting - Finding Hideouts and tracks (arrows on the ground). Traveling
through tough terrains also helps(forest, hills and etc.)
- Tactics - Giving your troops commands(F1 + F3), but in all honestly,
you gain it regardless of giving commands.
- Roguery - Selling prisoners is the main way. Recruiting bandit troops and
having them in your party overtime. Sneaking into towns and escaping from
captivity.
Social Skills:
- Charm - Talk to different nobles, improve reputation with nobles and
lords by doing quests, helping in battle, eliminating hideouts and helping
villagers. Also bartering with nobles and lords.
- Leadership - Having high morale and leading armies.
Have a video on how to maintain high morale, link down below:
https://youtu.be/kP1ut-dE0ZY
- Trade - Buy items for a low price at one town and sell for a higher price
at another town. In the vanilla game (no mods) you need to ask around
what is selling first at the tavern and then go and trade the item that
was spoken about. If you do not ask and receive the trade secret, you
will not gain XP.
Intelligence Skills:
- Steward - Have a huge food variety, build projects at your fiefs and
also waiting in your fief gives XP
- Medicine - Getting wounded or getting troops wounded will give XP and
then as they are healing, you also gain XP, does not matter if you are
at a settlement or not.
- Engineering - Building siege engines and also taking out enemy siege.
