I saved a simple trophy (Sleeping Beauty; where you must "Kill the sleeping guy in face down rappel section.") for last so I could record it on my GS4.

I had never played a Call of Duty game prior to this one. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It may be unique to this installment but, the sp campaign had a pretty great story. I liked the mixture of missions and the wide variety of of "terrain" from underwater to outer space... you even get to control a dog in a couple missions.

The difficulty of Veteran was mainly a joke. Your AI squad actually does a great deal to assist you in the gun fights and if you are patient, they will even tear through the resistance for you eventually. The trophy list was pretty fun. Most trophies can be obtained without paying attention to their requirements and none are missable since you can go back through on chapter select for anything you may have missed.

The multiplayer had 3 modes: Multiplayer, Squads and Extinction. The Multiplayer mode was your run of the mill variety with death matches, objective games, etc. which I only jumped into once or twice. Squads was a pretty fun and relatively easy 4-player co-op mode where you simply fight off waves of enemy AI.

Extinction is where the majority of the mp trophies resided. This mode was pretty fun at first but, you are quite limited in what you can do until you level up. By the time you hit level "31", you are, technically, able to earn all the trophies... the problem with that, is the Completionist trophy where you must escape after completing all the challenges. Let me just say that if you say this is an easy task, you are either just awesome at the game, lucky as hell, or lying. I blitzed through most of the trophies fairly easily except this one. I played with experienced and talented players yet we struggled with this task. There are around 20 different challenges, of which, you must complete a random 12-13 during your run. A few of these (i.e. Find the Leper in 30 seconds) are luck based and can ruin a great run. The shitty part about this is you can waste a good hour for each run only to be hit with a shitty challenge.

My ratings on this game are heavily swayed by the Extinction mp mode since I spent the majority of my time on this game playing this mode.
