In order to get the Bestowal achievement, along with the Neko No Shoben Katana weapon, you must pass time until you get a knock at the door. Check the door, and if you see a heavyset man in a trench coat, this is the Gamer. The gamer sells 4 video game cartridges that you can use in your apartment, but one game in particular, Massacre Princess, will get you this achievement.

After checking the door and seeing the heavyset man, say "Hello", and then open the door for him. He will allow you to check his items for sale, and you are going to want to purchase the Massacre Princess game (you can also buy the other 3 games that will count towards 2 other achievements as well if you want). Once you have bought the game, exit the transaction menu.

The Gamer will then start talking to you. At first, he will say that you probably won't like the game. Answer by saying "Yes, I'm buying it." He will then say that he will give you $200 to get it back, but counter by saying "Sorry, I'm keeping it." Now, he will start to draw a sword, and will offer to trade it to you to get the game back. Accept the trade offer and the achievement will unlock! You will also get the Katana as a weapon!
