Look Outside - How To Unlock The Hat Trick Achievement!
1In order to unlock the Hat Trick achievement, you must find an enemy disguised as a hat and wear it before talking to a specific version of Fred on the first floor.
Head to the first floor from the stairwell. Once you exit to the floor, head west, take the first path south, and then take the first path west. You will see a door that is missing part of the floor and has a metal grate showing. Head into this door, and you will be in Frederic's apartment (the Painter). Speak with Fred, and he will give you the keys to the place, allowing you to unlock some of the doors.
After speaking with Fred, unlock the door to the west of him and go through it. Head south in this room, and in the next room, head through the door on the opposite side. In this room, you will notice a table with a Cowboy Hat on it. Take the Cowboy Hat and equip it. You will now notice that it cannot be taken off! Head through the door to the north.
You will see a big green paint smear version of Fred in this room. Talk to him, and after a little conversation where he threatens you, he will give you the Stained Key, unlocking the Achievement!
