The practice of uploading two Lumines puzzles a day is starting to feel more and more justified, particularly if it gets the arrows pointed out the door that much sooner. And if you don't care for arrows, you don't have to worry, because they'll all be erased from existence soon. (Seriously, where do you think the clear line takes the Lumines tiles it deletes?)

I will confess that it's being done entirely for selfish reasons of wanting to cover the mode... without all the work of actually covering the mode. Which is weird, because having two puzzles a day means more "work" in that I am compelled by personality defect and writing addiction/self-therapy to place countless words in a field that YouTube seems to be more eager than ever to hide away from people's eyes.

"Dear diary... and strategist9 and Overhazard and other anonymous person(s) reading this long after the fact... (and Princess Celestia as well, I guess why not.)"

I now encourage people who regularly read these things but weren't given mention to make their presence and righteous fury known in the comments section, because I literally have no other way of knowing who actually DOES read something like this on a regular basis. I can only guess and self-deprecate to the effect of idly (and unusually loudly, for text anyway) assuming that number is effectively zero as t approaches infinity. Which is actually kinda cool if you think about it in a bizarre sort of way.

It's also an obviously meaningless thing to observe in the short run and meaningful results will set in some time well after I've moved on and done a bunch more videos since, but obviously no running tally can ever approach zero as t approaches infinity... but just you wait, I'll find a way!

Puzzle Mode
Puzzle 40: Arrow Down x2

This one, being the las and also the "easiest" (by my previous analysis, mileages may vary) of the Arrow lot ended up being the shortest by far... although it's not entirely the arrow's fault, part of that has to do with some weirdness brought on by the timing of the clear line and how it recognized the formation without deleting the whole thing and what was left in both the target color and the negative area surrounding proved unusually ideal to pick things up again.

Well, not particularly unusually, and the mid-clear-deletion...thing... is normally very bad, because it takes away only pieces of what you wanted to be rid of, but in this mode it could probably be used even more lucratively if I was in a mind to exploit it for all these 2x puzzles.

At any rate, it could've been even faster if it wasn't for my unusual squeamishness about putting pieces that I only THOUGHT could be good placements, only to chicken out at the last moment and THEN generally make the move I was considering all along by getting another chance at making it. Fun!

And thus, there will be no more arrows, and nobody complained one bit about that. Huzzah!
