I take on the Flower Cup, and as I have not explained about this in the Extra Mushroom Cup description, the next few videos of Mario Kart: Super Circuit were recorded before the DLC update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe went live. I play as Mario for this one, and the tracks in the Flower Cup are Mario Circuit 2, Choco Island 1, Ghost Valley 2, and Donut Plains 2, all of which were tracks from Super Mario Kart. To unlock Extra Flower Cup, after completing all five of the Grand Prix cups, play the Flower Cup again and collect a total of 100 coins to unlock the Extra Flower Cup.
Not many of the tracks have changed, most of which are hazards and obstacles that were removed, Mario Circuit 2 uses the background from this game's Mario Circuit, Choco Island 1 uses the background from Sunset Wilds, and Piranha Plants were removed from the course. Ghost Valley 2 uses the background from Boo Lake, and Donut Plains 2 uses the background from Riverside Park.
Going over Mario, he is a mediumweight character, and his rivals in the Grand Prix in order are Donkey Kong, Bowser, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Toad, and Wario. As with the courses, Mario Circuit 2 was originally the final track in the Mushroom Cup in Super Mario Kart, but as there are four tracks per cup, Mario Circuit 2 is the first track in the Extra Flower Cup, while the rest of the courses up to Donut Plains 2 were tracks in the Flower Cup.
