As we go through Woody Woods, and with the Monty Moles changing the signs every turn, you can pay 5 coins to the Monty Mole to have then change directions during that turn.
In the darker woods, there is Evil Woody, this one doesn't have an official name, but in Japanese, his name is Warukio, which is a combination of "Warui", which means bad, and interesting trivia, Wario and Waluigi's names mean Bad Mario and Bad Luigi in Japanese. Woody's Japanese name is Kinokio, not to be confused with Kinopio, which is Toad's Japanese name, so Warukio means Bad Woody.
With the evil looking tree, he also drops fruit, but they have negative effects, there is the Minus Coin Fruit, where you lose 5 coins, or a Reverse Block Fruit, where you roll again, but you go backwards, so I find that to be more helpful, a bunch of Swoopers will come out and send the player back some spaces.
Minigames in this video:
Dizzy Dancing
Money Belts
Tidal Toss
Handcar Havoc
River Raiders
Snow Whirled
Tube It or Lose It
Chip-Shot Challenge

Handcar Havoc is a minigame that I remember very well, this one is from Mario Party and it is a 2-vs-2 minigame where you control a handcar, you have to make use of the brakes and lean to the left or right to avoid falling into the lava, and this uses the variant from Mario Party, this minigame is in Mario Party 2, it instead takes place in a canyon-like area.
River Raiders is from Mario Party 3, and this is a 1-vs-3 coin collecting minigame, the one player is on a Red Shell boat and the other three players are on Green Shell boats, and you have to collect as many coins as you can, and if you bump into any obstacles, you will not be able to collect any coins for a short time.
Snow Whirled is an interesting minigame from Mario Party 6, and this does require a bit of practice, because you have to press A, B, Y, and X in that order to score points by spinning your snowboard in the air, and I find it trickier to do it quickly with the Switch controller compared to the GameCube controller in Mario Party 6. The player with the most points is the winner.
Chip-Shot Challenge is one of my least favourite minigames in this game, this minigame is from Mario Party 3, and you take turns in aiming for the hole with your golf club, and the winner is based on how close your ball is to the hole, and you do win if you manage to hit your ball into the hole, and one nice bit of detail about this minigame is that Donkey Kong swings his golf club with one hand like in the Mario Golf series.
