I play through Classic Mode with Luigi, and what I do with my Classic Mode videos is that I randomize a list to decide who the next few characters will be, and the playlist will display the fighters in order of how they are displayed on the roster. Luigi's Classic Mode route is called Luigi's Nightmare, all of Luigi's opponents are scary characters, or characters that use a scary-themed alternate costume, likely to reference the Luigi's Mansion series.
To unlock Luigi, there are many different ways, one of them is Vs. Matches, where Luigi is the 33rd character to be unlocked, and he is the 5th character unlocked by completing Classic Mode with Mario or any character in his unlock tree after Ike.
In Round 1, you fight four Toon Links on Luigi's Mansion, and they all use the Dark Toon Link alternate costume, in Round 2, you fight Giant Ridley on Brinstar, then in Round 3, your opponent is Bayonetta, you fight her on Umbra Clock Tower. In Round 4, you fight a Horde Battle against six Mii Fighters, there are three Mii Brawlers, the costumes used are Hockey Mask and SSB T-shirt, another uses Devil Horns and Vampire Garb, and another uses the King K. Rool Hat and Outfit. The two Mii Swordfighters use Magic Hat and Ashley Outfit, the other uses Majora's Mask and SSB T-shirt, and the Mii Gunner wears the Bear Hat and Bear Suit, the Mii Fighters are fought on Luigi's Mansion on Battlefield Form.
In Round 5, you fight Link on Midgar, he uses the Dark Link alternate costume, and in Round 6, you fight Little Mac, who uses the Wireframe Mac alternate costume with the green hooded sweatshirt, after defeating Little Mac, you get a Giant Mr. Game & Watch appearing, despite Mr. Game & Watch not appearing on the loading screen, and you fight them on Luigi's Mansion on Omega Form.
Next is the Bonus Stage, and then you fight Dracula for your final opponent, this is likely due to Luigi's infamous appearance in Simon and Richter's reveal trailer, and Dracula being a vampire fits in well with the scary theme of Luigi's Classic Mode route. Dracula fights using a bunch of projectile moves, and he can turn into a swarm of bats and rush ahead to deal damage, and Dracula can only be damage if you attack his head. When you defeat Dracula, he reveals his demon form, and you can attack him anywhere to deal damage to him, and he will jump around the stage a lot, and he has a bunch of attacks, like his claws, some fire attacks, and many others.
After completing Classic Mode with Luigi, we get the credits, and the song that plays is Title/Ending from Super Mario World, and you unlock the Fighter Spirit for Luigi, and there are a bunch of Spirits for him, like Fox Luigi, Luigi from Mario Tennis Aces, and many others.
