Here are all the known "future data" glitch effects from Chapter 5 boat ride - except a few ones that actually save time in a speedrun, which were already chronicled in a separate video here:

0:00 - Chapter 5-12. Loading trigger is hit as soon as the Checkpoint has started.

Activating future data, Max enters awkward, floaty cutscene motions as the set piece is progressing. After the boat has driven far enough, you get a glitched version of the normal pre-Checkpoint 13 cutscene which then cuts off prematurely as Checkpoint 13 starts with Max still in cutscene motions.

0:44 - Chapter 5-13. The loading trigger is hit as soon as the Checkpoint has begun.

If you activate future data early, Max enters cutscene motions and is eventually stuck standing in place. You're unable to shoot at the molotovs flying towards your boat, so getting blown to bits is the likely result from all this.

Activating future data later on in the set piece doesn't seem possible? Maybe the loading triggers change by then somehow.

1:23 - Chapter 5-14. New loading trigger is hit after having shot the grenade.

Activating future data at that point, you get a strange camera angle as Max's boat explodes in the distance. After retrying you are sent back to Checkpoint 14.

1:35 - Chapter 5-15. For some reason it seems impossible or difficult to take a future data buffer from another Chapter here?

Activating future data early, Max enters awkward looking cutscene motions in the middle of the boat ride and also turns invisible on occasion. Eventually he is frozen in an idle standing pose.

2:15 - Activating future data later, you are able to enter the next cutscene while Max is still stuck in his weird cutscene motions. This causes the next cutscene to glitch up as it starts, with Max and Passos in odd positions, Checkpoint 16 intro appearing momentarily and then interrupting as the new Checkpoint begins prematurely. The various effects depend on your timing. Used correctly, this can be used as a speedrun tactic to skip watching the pre-Checkpoint 16 cutscene.

2:52 - Chapter 5-16. Next loading trigger is hit at the start of the Checkpoint.

Activating future data, Max enters cutscene motions all of a sudden and becomes unable to defend the boat. At the end he gets stuck in a lazy idle standing pose. Meanwhile, the boat ride will never end because there are still enemies after you, so Passos just aimlessly drives around until you explode. Retrying takes you back to Checkpoint 16.

3:26 - Chapter 5-17. You hit next loading trigger after having waited for some seconds.

Activating future data, Max suddenly enters some strange cutscene pose and no longer even faces the enemies. This goes on for a while before Max starts standing idly, and then the boat hits the ramp and things progress to Checkpoint 18 as usual.

(Not on the vid: there's a possibility that starting future data as the boat explodes might also create unique effects in some of the Checkpoints during the boat ride, but it's really inconsistent to test.)
