This is a very different type of challenge to any other that I've done for this game. This is a challenge where I try to make as much progress as possible while only recruiting Agumon; a challenge where I try to make the maximum amount of progress with just 1 Prosperity Point. I don't think that it's possible to make it beyond the Native Forest without recruiting Agumon, and that's why this isn't a challenge where I aim to maximise progress with 0 Prosperity Points. I refer to the medals when I talk about progress; the objective of this challenge is to see how many medals I can earn under these restrictions.

There are 15 medals in total:
Medal for defeating the final boss; Machinedramon.
Medal for reaching 100 Prosperity Points.
Medal for Digivolving to every Digimon.
Medal for learning every Technique.
Medal for reaching maximum Stats.
Medal for getting every Digimon Card.
Medal for reaching maximum money.
Medal for catching 100 fish.
Medal for getting the perfect score in Curling.
Medal that you get once 10 years have passed.
Medal for 100 Championship Wins at the Arena Tournament.
Medal for winning every Grade Tournament.
Medal for winning every Version Tournament.
Medal for winning every Nature Tournament.
Medal for winning every Special Tournament.

Since I can't recruit any Digimon other than Agumon, I would think that it's self explanatory that some of these medals are not going to be obtainable in this challenge. However, there are some medals which surely will be achievable, as well as some medals which might be achievable.

From returning to the Volume Villa I was able to get the Digivolution Item for Fridgimon (Ice Crystal). I spent the remaining Merit Points on Super Restores; I felt that the Digivolution Items for Airdramon (Rainbow Horn) and Coelamon (Hard Scale) wouldn't be necessary. I was successful with learning every Battle Technique; Sonic Jab, Dynamite Kick, Counter, Megaton Punch, Tremor, Buster Dive, War Cry and Muscle Charge. I felt that SkullGreymon had no further usefulness, and so I let him fade away.

I chose the Pink Egg and Digivolved from Yuramon to Tanemon. I took advantage of the Tanemon Bug and upgraded the entire Green Gym. I Digivolved from Tanemon to Palmon, and then to Numemon. By training Brains with Numemon and using what I call "Butterfly Brain Training" I managed to learn all of the Filth Techniques; Horizontal Kick, Skunk Spray, Quick Poop Throw, Random Poop Throw, Fast Random Poop Throw, Giant Poop Throw, Giant Poop Toss and Ultimate Poop Bomb. Digivolving to Monzaemon was made easy thanks to the Monzaemon Costume at Toy Town. I then spoke to the Robot Digimon so that he unlocked the door that leads towards WaruMonzaemon. I returned to the City and trained until Monzaemon faded away.

The Pink Egg was my choice of egg again except I Digivolved from Tanemon to Kunemon, instead of Palmon or Betamon. My time with Kunemon was short-lived as I immediately Digivolved to Nanimon. I was intent on Digivolving from Nanimon to Digitamamon. This was not an easy Digivolution; I had to win 100+ battles and catch Black Trouts so that I could decrease Nanimon's weight while feeding him. I did eventually succeed with Digivolving to Digitamamon. I promptly learned Prominence Beam by training Brains. I took Digitamamon to Toy Town and defeated WaruMonzaemon so that I scored 2 HP Chips. I didn't give the Gear to the Robot Digimon as that would've resulted in the recruitment of Monzaemon. Instead I put the Gear into the Item Bank, where it was to stay for the rest of the game. From doing more Butterfly Brain Training I learned the 2 remaining Fire Techniques; Meltdown and Infinity Burn. With nothing more to do with Digitamamon, I allowed him to fade away.

I started afresh with another Yuramon but Digivolved to Sukamon after just 5 hours. My main intention with Sukamon was to try and Digivolve to Etemon. This was another tough Digivolution; I had to win 50+ battles. Black Trouts were also needed so that I could get Sukamon's weight down to where it needed to be. I did Digivolve to Etemon, and the plan was then to train until fading away.
