This is a very different type of challenge to any other that I've done for this game. This is a challenge where I try to make as much progress as possible while only recruiting Agumon; a challenge where I try to make the maximum amount of progress with just 1 Prosperity Point. I don't think that it's possible to make it beyond the Native Forest without recruiting Agumon, and that's why this isn't a challenge where I aim to maximise progress with 0 Prosperity Points. I refer to the medals when I talk about progress; the objective of this challenge is to see how many medals I can earn under these restrictions.

There are 15 medals in total:
Medal for defeating the final boss; Machinedramon.
Medal for reaching 100 Prosperity Points.
Medal for Digivolving to every Digimon.
Medal for learning every Technique.
Medal for reaching maximum Stats.
Medal for getting every Digimon Card.
Medal for reaching maximum money.
Medal for catching 100 fish.
Medal for getting the perfect score in Curling.
Medal that you get once 10 years have passed.
Medal for 100 Championship Wins at the Arena Tournament.
Medal for winning every Grade Tournament.
Medal for winning every Version Tournament.
Medal for winning every Nature Tournament.
Medal for winning every Special Tournament.

Since I can't recruit any Digimon other than Agumon, I would think that it's self explanatory that some of these medals are not going to be obtainable in this challenge. However, there are some medals which surely will be achievable, as well as some medals which might be achievable.

From battling Digimon I made it up to 7 out of 8 Ice Techniques; Tear Drop, Winter Blast, Ice Needle, Water Blitz, Aqua Magic, Giga Freeze and Ice Statue. The final Ice Technique (Aurora Freeze) was learnt from training Brains, and MegaSeadramon was then left to fade away. With Airdramon and Coelamon coming as the result of Special Digivolutions, you can probably see why I didn't bother to purchase either of those Digimon's Digivolution Items from ShogunGekomon.

In the next lifespan I chose the Green Egg. The Rookie Digimon that I Digivolved to was Gabumon, and he Digivolved to Drimogemon. As the result of a Special Digivolution, I went from Drimogemon to Monochromon. The requirement is to sleep as Drimogemon with maximum Discipline and a minimum of 500 Defense. I Digivolved from Monochromon to MetalGreymon but had to do some force-feeding in order to make Monochromon's weight high enough.

I wanted to learn the Machine Techniques with MetalGreymon but was unsuccessful with this. Metal Splinter came naturally but the game was programmed so that Digimon who have Machine as their first nature can't learn Power Crane from training Brains. To make things worse, they have to know Power Crane in order to be able to learn any other Machine Techniques from training Brains. I had no way of learning Power Crane from battles, and that meant that I was in a position where I couldn't learn any Machine Techniques with MetalGreymon. There was a solution though; Digimon who have Machine as their second or third nature can learn Power Crane from training Brains if it's a technique that they are able to use. Therefore, I needed a Digimon who has Machine as their second or third nature and can use Power Crane.

When MetalGreymon faded away, I chose the Pink Egg and Digivolved from Tanemon to Kunemon. I used the Hair Grower to make Kunemon Digivolve to Mojyamon, and I then naturally Digivolved from Mojyamon to Mamemon; a Digimon who could learn Power Crane. I did learn Power Crane with Mamemon, along with Devolve Program and Pulse Laser. I was then in need of a Digimon who has Machine as their first nature so that I could learn the other Machine Techniques.

I chose the Green Egg and Digivolved all the way through to Giromon; Digivolving to Agumon and Centarumon during the process. From Butterfly Brain Training I learned the remaining Machine Techniques; Full Power, Delete Program, All Range Beam and DG Dimension. This brought me up to 56/56 Techniques, and therefore I was presented with the medal for learning every Technique. This meant that learning Techniques was a thing of the past, but I still had a lot of work to do in other departments.

In the following 3 lifespans I picked the Yellow Egg, Green Egg and Blue Egg respectively. The Yellow Egg saw me Digivolve to Patamon, Tyrannomon and Megadramon. The Green Egg saw me Digivolve to Agumon, Meramon and Andromon. The Blue Egg saw me Digivolve to Penguinmon and Garurumon. I did Digivolve from Garurumon to an Ultimate Digimon but it wasn't a Natural Digivolution; it was a Special Digivolution to Vademon. You can Digivolve to Vademon from any Champion Digimon. In order to be able to Digivolve to Vademon you have to Praise/Scold your Champion Digimon after having it for a minimum of 240 hours. I was successful with this Digivolution but had to extend Garurumon's lifespan with DigiSeabasses.
