So the fortress explodes with Wily running off with his robot, with Proto Man wondering if Mega Man made it out safely, and wondering what the future has in store for everyone. Mega Man seemed to have been rescued by someone and brought to Dr. Light, most likely Bass, who now has a bone to pick with Wily for basically tossing him out. Mega Man is repaired and all is well again, but there's still the matter of Wily's new robot. But that will be for another time. For now, the credits roll, showing the Robot Masters we fought repaired and living more lives.

And that was Mega Man Unlimited, a pretty great fangame, although ending on an unwinnable fight kind of leaves the game on a sour note. But there's one last stage to show off before calling it a wrap. __
