So we end up in this underground section of the fortress, not sure where Bass went, but whatever. There's a couple of goodies scattered through our path, and only like 3 enemies. But after entering through a gate, we find a pod, and from that pod emerges a mysterious, but familiar robot. He starts attacking us, but none of our weapons seem to hurt him. Yep, we got ourselves an unwinnable fight here. Once our health is dropped to 1 unit, our arm falls off, and before he can deliver the final blow, the robot malfunctions and Wily comes to pick it up. Then the self destruct sequence activates and we have to escape. But with no arm, we can't use any weapons so we're defenseless. After getting outside, Mega Man collapses. __
