This is video #02 in my playthrough of Mega Man VII. After we start the game, a brief scene plays, and we meet Mega Man, Roll, and a new character, Auto. I'm not controlling the dialogue, so pause it if you need to in order to read it.

In the next screen, there is another brief scene (time index 1:27). Time to get after His Madness!

On the next screen, we gain control over Mega Man (time index 2:19). The Mega Buster is still chargeable, but the charged shots now do two points of damage instead of three. Oh, well.

After a short walk, there is a battle against a steamrolling robot that has a killer silver mohawk (time index 2:51). Only its head is vulnerable to damage, so charge, leap, and shoot.

After traveling the treacherous road, Mega Man will meet this stage's "boss" (time index 3:33). It is a black android named Bass. It is not necessary to defeat him, but you get more respectful dialogue for doing so. After the battle, we also meet his dog, Treble.

After the scenes, we get our first password. Capcom has switched from the grid of dots to a 4x4 grid of numbers. Then, we reach the stage select screen. To start with, there are only four robot masters available to challenge.

By the way, in this game, they stopped showing the robot masters on the stage select screen, for some odd reason. I thought I would add them.
