Gemini man always puzzled me as a kid. I still don't understand the connection to the level. Maybe they thought gems had
something to do with gemini. Keep shooting and progress slowly so that you only encounter one eye robot or penguin at a time. Why is Man Mega Man shooting penguins anyway? I'm
pretty sure the developers created the level first and Gemini man had to be worked in later. And shouldn't it be Gemini Men?
Anticipate the sweep instead of trying to dodge the flames, they're too unpredictable. It's hard to turn around without spawning one from behind. Make sure to shoot if you do. That was close. One last penguin and it's time to visit protoman. I always wish I could shoot this guy. You finally got a clear shoot and now you got cold feet. Hurry up damnit. Try to shoot the eggs and tadpoles on the fourth row from the ground or else clearing a path will be tougher. You might need to move the screen back and forth to hit the last bubble. Now just slide under and shoot the bottom row as fast as possible. Stand on the edge here so you have enough space to shoot the hatchling. Here's a tricky alcove jump but it's a good technique to learn. Wait for the dragonflies to go away then approach the penguin machine. Jumpshoot the eyes and also keep shooting the ground in case he launches penguins at you. These also make great farming locations if you're low on energy.
Up next we're gonna hold right on controller 2 so we can high jump and avoid using rush coil or rush marine. Take this section flat out keep moving and don't lose you momentum. Slo motion is your friend. Wait a sec for the dragonfly and continue. Slide through, jump, and wait again for the dragon. Jump to avoid the missile. And jump straight up to avoid the final buzzard. The bomber fish won't appear during this small section so just wait for the flies to pass and it's one last section to the latter. Think about timing your jumps so bugs rush you while in midair and fly over your head. The fish missiles don't help but still prioritize the flies. Shoot these damn floor monster right away because they're potential spoilers. This enemy placement wasn't thought out too well. Gemini man has two phases. First thing you wanna do is to slide into the middle of the screen. Shootjump the moment he paused and land on the otherside. You wanna press both shoot and jump at the same time to achieve this, while reverting to middle when possible.
Second phase keep pressure on him and after he jumps, you jump over him and nail him to the wall. He's similar to protoman in that he won't turn around to face you until he kisses the wall. Your best hope is that he shoot a Gemini beam, which slows down the game to the point of halving you reaction time. That was a nice challenge.
