Megaman 3 Sparkman - Awesome Music Trippy Level
21Sparkman's level is pretty trippy. Especially the Doc Robot variation, but this is still cool. Wait on the ledge before jumping through the spark beam. The next section you want to take flat out while jumpshooting the electric robots. Remember to slide whenever possible so you have enough time to clear the lightning. This is hammer Joe, Sniper Joe's Olympic cousin. Just stay low and aim for his crotch after he tosses his ball. The rising blocks can be troublesome. Jump off the first and run off the second, short hope the fourth and final block and continue moving so you're able to clear the next set of beams. That was pretty much the toughest part as far as no damage runs go, so you can just relax for the next few sections. These trash blocks took up too much memory for the old Nintendo carts. Mega Man 3 was 384 kilobytes, which is an unusual number. They probably should have forked out for 512.
I like to play it safe here and wait to take out the nut and bolt. Then it's full jump, full jump, short hop, short hop, followed by four more jump, just missing the final bolt. Get on the second platform and shoot Sparkman as quickly as possible, or else he'll jump to the top and screw up the pattern. Jump over the big spark, then time your next jump to run underneath and to the other side of the hump. Shoot him as soon as you land so he doesn't run and you should get half a dozen hits on him. Wait for him to come back around and run underneath again. Rinse and repeat. If he makes it to the top platform you'll need to jump before his giant shockball so he tosses it above your head.
