Originally called "Space Force" in 1980 by Venture Line, this is the exact same game (with a scoring table shown during the attract mode in Space Force)-- an utterly ugly, awful color rip-off of Asteroids. Gameplay is essentially the same, but the enemy ships are tougher to hit, you can shoot more frequently, your thrust has less propulsion than in Asteroids, and you CAN'T SHOOT THROUGH ONE EDGE OF THE SCREEN TO THE OTHER! Lame! Oh, and there's no Hyperspace button as in Asteroids, but I never really liked it anyway. The only advice I can give you besides using the mini-thrust to your advantage (just use little bursts to escape meteors, whereas in Asteroids you didn't want to leave the center of the screen much at all) and firing constantly (and in a spread of shots to take out those tricky enemy ships), is to not play this abomination in the first place. A joystick is in place of the left and right buttons that Asteroids used, and you get a free ship at 10,000 points. There! That's all you need to know about the game, now you don't even need to bother playing it.
