MiSTer FPGA - Combat School [2 player] / Konami Arcade
14Had a chance to try this new core with a friend this past weekend, and while it seems like a fun game for two players, I would not recommend playing this one in its current state. The controls are broken once you get to a certain point, and do not respond quick enough to continue on with the game. You can see us both get to this point in the video here. The controls change at this point and it becomes unwinnable. We went through multiple times and could not get past this stage to experience the rest of the game. Shame, because the other events are actually entertaining and I had quite a bit of fun doing the challenges alongside another player. The current core uses a "Joystick" version of the game, because the original used a trackball. Hopefully the trackball version works better, whenever it arrives on MiSTer.
