MiSTer FPGA - Joust [2 player] / Williams Arcade
7Got into some two player sessions of Joust recently. Fun as ever, frantically trying to avoid being squashed out by the CPU ostrich-knights in this arcade gem. Trying to avoid killing the other player to try and get further in the game, is a big part of the challenge when playing two player. Being overly cautious will often get you killed, so it feels like a bit of a balancing act.
Joust uses the same Williams arcade hardware as Robotron, as do many other games. See the core's github link for further information.
