It seems Mojang never cease work on Minecraft, with 2 new games reportedly in the works.
Despite working on one of the largest Minecraft updates ever, that fundamentally changes some core aspects of the game, the Caves & Cliffs update, Mojang is also working on 2 other Minecraft titles.
Minecraft is no stranger to spin-offs, with previous releases like Minecraft: Story Mode, and Minecraft: Dungeons.
Mojang have lately been posting pixel-style pictures of Minecraft, that is very reminiscent of Terraria.
This has led to speculation that Mojang are currently working on some kind of 2D platformer adaption of Minecraft.
Whilst nothing is confirmed, Jez Corden from WindowsCentral.com, has confirmed that “at least two all new projects”, are in the works at Mojang Studios, neither are Minecraft Dungeons, or Minecraft: Story Mode.
It makes sense that Mojang would start to increase their output after rebranding themselves as Mojang Studios, so hopefully we can expect some news on that in the near future.
