R-Typo:
A fangame/homage shooter made in Godot, primarily based on R-Type with nods to other games from the 80s and 90s as well.
The funnel system works differently from the classic pod, as when its split apart, is has a different firing method from when put together (which has the 3 classic R-Type support shots), but instead of picking up power-ups to switch, you have them on you always, you just need pressing the funnel button.
If the funnel pieces orbit around you, you use the R-Type Leo homing options, when they move the opposite of your movement, you use homing lasers and when they're doing kind of a Gradius-ish option movement, you fire straight lasers.
There's an audio bug, where if you beat the stage and then replay it again, it doesn't play the stage theme after the initial start, it instead plays the warning siren (which is the Neo Geo startup noise) and then the rest of the stage is silent until the boss.
I've also not tested the instant respawn option, as I feel that these kinds of games are designed around checkpoint recovery, even if it's quite challenging at points, they can be learned and overcome. The instant respawn might then result in something along the lines of Hellfire 2P version, where that game wasn't designed around instant respawns, so this game would require great amount of testing on both to ensure they are balanced, since it's providing two different challenges, so to speak.

Task Force Pancho:
Flappy Bird made in SHMUP Creator by RUOK, who also made Abstract Code and other experimental things in that engine (and hey, it's not an NFT scam like the "actual" FB thing).
The controls are a bit different, as the ship has a constant gravity flag, but you don't use two buttons (one for flying, one for shooting), you instead use the Up arrows to move up and Down arrows to descend faster and then hold the Z/A/Cross to fire a laser.
The "leafblower" turrets I feel can screw you over a bit when they show up in later levels, since they rely on an RNG pattern, which will result in you getting hit either by flying into an obstacle or having to tank the hit either way just to get through a gap. Then again, who knows what other obstacles and enemies might show up in the full version.

Red Blue Cell:
A new game from Liao Kai after his escapades with Contra-like G-Warrior, which mixes Recca and Ikaruga, two vastly different games and pulverizing or aggravating for some. This current demo only features two mini-stage portions.
This also isn't LKK's first rodeo with a Recca-ish game, as he's made a cancelled fangame Recca Kai back in 2021, so much like with GanaBlade, which was originally a fangame called Gun Nac Max, he's now reviving it and turning it into its own thing.
There's no "3-hit combo of the same color for chains to get more score" mechanic here, you just hit the enemies with the same color and get double points from it (no tic points from shot absorbtion, btw). The "Good %" will either be there just for stats or give you extra points depending on how well you did keeping it high, it's still a bit early for this game.
