Pomeraider Thoughts:
This would've gone into Neo-Arcade, but I messed up and forgot to record it, so I put it in here (sorry about that). A Mario Bros. inspired platformer with extra movement options and features randomized upgrades in colored chests. Know that the upgrades in the last slot can be overwritten, so don't accidentally remove the strength perk in favor of extra life for example. Pretty good so far, though the boss feels a bit buggy during the rage phase, straight up pulling boxes out of nowhere that get stuck on level geometry, it really clutters the arena up (and the stuck boxes also "shield" him with how they're stuck).

Exo-9 Battle Goat Thoughts:
Mega Man X inspired game with the charge shot now being a lock-on shot instead. It's solid, but the music is kinda ear-shrilling, it should be toned down a bit with the loud guitars in terms of volume.

Garbage Girl Louise Thoughts:
Do the Lu-rio! But seriously, this game is heavily influenced by Mario, a simple platformer with really nice pixelart, colorful characters and different powerups that also change your attire. I can imagine that analogue for underground levels besides subways will be sewers and sky levels either rooftops or construction sites, there's quite a few ways these can go.

RoboGAL Thoughts:
A cutesy Mega Man inspired game, with levels merging multiple robot master gimmicks while doing some of its own stuff. The charge shot though takes a tad too long, compared to the original Mega Man games, it almost feels like it's not worth using compared to just mashing fire. The Spring Man springs going to the sides in the Char-Wuf stage are also kinda finnicky, but they clearly knew so placed checkpoints right before them.

XGA Thoughts:
They really decided to make their own Metroid Fusion and while a "Special Edition" is planned for next year with extra areas and 5 USD price tag, this "demo" is basically a full game, you're only seeing a snippet of what the game has on offer. The reloading mechanic doesn't feel well thought out and it feels random when it reloads when you stop firing, the crouching is also a bit finnicky. The bosses having invulnerability frames is also a bit strange, but they are defeated relatively quickly, as are you as a player. I also managed to sequence break the game, which resulted in be not getting the shield upgrade properly after beating the Sector 1 boss.
