Fourth Map-Center Q2 Map Jam, made after they've released their first map jam for Quake 1 with Retro Jam. People were tasked to make levels in style of Unit 1 and partially Unit 2 with no custom textures allowed, only music and sound effects. It's also as of now the biggest custom mapset for the Q2 Remaster, with 16 new maps + a secret map and a boss map, with the hub being based on Unit 1, though I'm not sure if Doom-Shakalaka or Sharteturie is responsible for it, former is responsible for the boss map. I am scared what the future jams will bring when custom monsters are brought into the fray.

Coolant Plant (Shartuterie):
A pretty solid map.

Low Rank HQ (Atom1K):
A solid map, slightly cramped in some areas like the dual laser fence area, where you have to deal with Medics.

Stroyent Reactor (Shadesmaster):
A well made tower-ish map with tough, but well designed encounters.

Training Day (Detro Hogga):
The hidden switch to break the gate had me stumped a fair bit, but afterwards, it was a well designed map, aside from a potential softlock at 01:04:02 if you're out of rockets (or have no armor and get destroyed by trying to rocket jump).

Base MEW 0KC (Ziutek):
Very challenging map, the final battle at the crashed ship is really tough, save the power-ups for the second phase or you're gonna be stuck there for a while.

You're The Cargo! (Jerry):
A very solid map with some slight comedy in it.

Blackened Nexus (Kaz115):
This map feels like it takes Unit 1 and makes it even bigger in scale. It also highlights how limited the "sight range" is on the enemies, you can snipe them from afar and they won't even try to attack you, because you're too far off from their range. (The multiple pauses were because I was dealing with some family stuff in the back)

Ruinous (JayHobs_AU):
A solid map with some touch of atmosphere thanks to the music choice, but cramped a fair bit in the starting areas.

(Laser) Drill Baby Drill (Simon Novak):
A solid map.

Laser Mayhem (SuperMatt):
You only have 5 minutes to clear the map and the only weapon you get is the Plasma Beam. Be quick or its lights out. Very fun short map.

Omicron Base (Marcos):
They put Serious Sam in my Quake 2. Very high number of enemies, use explosives or the Medics will make the situations even worse. The diving into the coolant is way too tight, you'll accidentally touch the walls even if you're dead center. Don't even bother fighting the extra wave at the end, run to the elevator. Pretty good.

Canyon Crusade (ThunderGoose):
A good map.

Dam Fright (MVE):
A solid map on a shorter side, which is welcome when most of the maps are pretty lengthy behemoths.

Neuron Uplink (Em3raldTig3r):
A pretty good map.

Strategic Command (Y4R1L0):
Good map, but screw you with the closed in encounter with the Tank Commander.

Remnant Of A Powerful Sphere (Nicco):
Very good map.

Vanilla Base (Quakeulf):
This is a bonus map that wasn't made for the jam, but was a standalone release originally. Not sure how I feel about the writing on almost every thing you do, the map itself is good besides that.
