Muppet Adventure: Chaos at the Carnival - ADG Episode 266
So... how broken does a game have to be before a major publisher won't release something? Answer: Somehow more broken than THIS...
Today on Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look at Muppet Adventure: Chaos at the Carnival, a minigame collection developed by Micromosaics and published by Hi-Tech Expressions in 1989, and this is perhaps one of the most buggy and unfinished DOS games you will ever come across that got an actual proper release on store shelves...

Additional Information and Corrections:
* Another possibility as to why this got rushed out the door is that the license may have been expiring and the publisher either wasn't prepared to pay to renew it, or wasn't given an option to, thus had to get the game out before the license expired, otherwise they wouldn't be able to legally sell it. Regardless, we may never know the real reason why this game was released prematurely. :P
* Something I didn't test is that, since the Duck Hunt minigame is a separate executable, playing it MIGHT fix the flickering bug caused by playing the final minigame. Quite frankly... I'm not inclined to go back and test...
