My Minecraft Adventure: I Found a Desert and a HUGE Underground Structure
Welcome to episode 6 of things I did in Minecraft.
In this update, I showcase where the massive sky train system led to next. After making it to the beach, it carried on through a thick forest and came out the other side near a valley. It split off in two different directions and one of those directions went further on until I reached a massive desert.
Since the desert is often known for gold mines, I thought it was a great place for building another mine. After all, I was constantly running low on gold and always scrounging for even more. So, maybe a mine in the desert would prove to be useful?
So, I set out to build up a small protective structure
and start digging down. I remembered the mining system I had set up before towards the end of my base mine, and thought I should just go ahead and do the same here, only this time, go all the way down that way. Well, shortly after blasting past the terracotta layers, I stumbled across an insanely large underground system. So, my mine idea went straight out the window.
The underground cave was absolutely filled with enemies, so I took to carefully placing torches everywhere and defeating enemies as I went along. Eventually, I secured the main upper cavern structures and started exploring. This led to me finding a really neat amethyst geode. What's more, I found a complex mine system below as well. I haven't fully explored it, but I did find a number of chests. Oh, and the cave system was also packed full of gold, so I am now good for gold for a while at least.
The space here is absolutely massive and I could spend another huge number of hours exploring what I haven't been able to find, but I did find what looks like an enemy spawner at least. Not sure what I'm going to do with it, but for now, I'm just leaving it alone.
Also, the cave features some high cliff diving into a large pool above a pit, so that's also pretty neat.
I hope you like the video and look forward to showing you even more in the future!
