Here is a quick advert for a new kickstarter project I have launched today. Its called Amiga - The Quantum Leap, and is based on the idea of a 5 hour movie, telling the story of the Amiga from inception to bankruptcy. We also get to hear the fascinating story of how it went right, and where it all went wrong, and the pointless series of mistakes which lead to the demise of our beloved machines. Keen eyed viewers may spot this is a re-work of an Amiga Nostalgia video I made back in 2011, with all the Viva Amiga clips replaced with a few clips and games of my own. It is meant to showcase the diversity of the machines, and software which transformed it into a heavy-duty productivity tool. The cover image is an illustration of the format of the movie, using still images and motion zooms to tell the story, with clips from classic TV ads and Amiga gatherings, and my voice-over to tell the story.
